The Indian women's doubles pair were knocked
out of the tennis competition by Chia-Jung Chuang and Su-Wei Hsieh of
Chinese Taipei.Taipei pair defeated the Indians 1-6, 6-3, 1-6 at the Wimbledon grass court.In the first set, The Indians managed to score just eight winners as compared to Taipei’s 19.Sania and Rushmi tried to come back in the game in the second set, but the third-set loss sent them packing.Chakarvarthi and Mirza could only muster 19 winners as opposed to their
opponents’ 43. First set lasted 36 mins., the second set 28 mins. and
the third a final one 27 mins.
